Teenage Stage International Summer School, the arts educational holiday with quality theatre training has confirmed 2017 dates for schools, teachers and parents.

The course offers daily rehearsal and classes in dance, drama and singing from leading theatre directors, choreographers and the core aim is to give children and teens professional, fun training but also a packed “Page to Stage” timetable each evening.
Professor Patrick Lonergan of Centre for Drama,Theatre and Performance at NUI Galway said “We look forward to contributing to the school in a variety of ways: by advising on curriculum, involving our own undergraduate drama students,– and in other ways too. In doing so, we want to play our part in making Teenage Stage Summer Schools a rigorous, educationally rich and enjoyable immersion in the world of theatre”
The total cost for the advanced residential course is €635 per student with a 10% sibling discount. The holiday includes seven days professional training,evening entertainment and guest workshops, six nights accommodation, bedding, full board, 24 hour secure supervision, materials, scripts, rehearsal cds plus a guaranteed appearance in Sweeney Todd by Stephen Sondheim with professional lighting, costumes and sound provided. Places for this bespoke course are limited. No previous theatre training necessary but enthusiasm is essential.
