Child Protection – StageSchool Ireland
StageSchool Ireland is committed to the Children First National Guidelines for the Protection & Welfare of Children
We have a duty of care to our students, and their parents need to feel confident that as an organisation, we have the safety of their children as our primary concern.
We go to great lengths to ensure that we have the appropriate level of care in our small classes.
Our teaching staff are all Garda Vetted through StageSchool Ireland and this system has been very successful for the last nine years. All teachers receive full background checks as well as latest updates and regular training on child protection protocol. Our specialist teachers are supported by our qualified teaching assistants. In addition, a non-teaching centre director is always on site to attend to student and parent needs. Children under 6 are never left unattended and a female member of staff will escort them from classroom back to the family room or lavatories for example. Students under 11 are not allowed to leave our centres at any time unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
StageSchool Ireland has full public liability and professional indemnity insurance with Allianz in all our centres and summer schools. Our Child protection policies follow all National and Best Practice Guidelines and copies are available for parents in the foyer in our family waiting rooms.
