Peadar Mac Donnacha has massive industry experience dating back to 1974 where he started working in the lighting department on one of the first movies directed by Bob Quinn! Following this,he well and truly got the movie making bug and in 1982 he graduated Ballyfermot Collage. After this (1985) he set up his own production company Aesopteo, based in the West of Ireland. From 1986 – 2008 Peadar trained the TG4 staff & Ros na Run team on screen presence, lighting, sound and camera. Peadar has also received extensive training with RTE in camera & sound over the years and since 1994 he has also worked as a media tutor for the Galway and Roscommon Education Training Board based in the Media Centre in Gort, Peadar teaches all our current cinematography classes at Clapperboard Junior Film School which are proving to be a great success with our young film makers!
