Nicole Scott, Dance Tutor, Westport

One of our longest serving and most popular teachers, Nicole has taught a variety of styles of dance which include modern jazz, contemporary and hip-hop to our Junior Stage class as well as the current senior StageSchool Mayo company. Nicole is a classically trained ballet dancer and strongly believes in teaching students the importance of dance technique as well as the fun and expressive aspects of dance. She has choreographed many shows including her university’s rendition of Grease in 2021 and has also taught dance in our summer schools including ‘Robin and The Sherwood Hoodies’, 'Sweeney Todd', 'Legally Blonde', 'We Will Rock You', 'Singin' in the rain' and most recently ‘Grease young@part’ at Teenage Stage International Summer Schools in Kildare. Nicole is a passionate and enthusiastic member of the team and looks forward to teaching dance with the incredibly talented students in Westport each week.

Nicole is a local primary school teacher. In her spare time she likes to take to the stage as a member of both Castlebar musical society and Claremorris musical society, playing a variety of roles in popular shows including Sister Act, 9 to 5 and All Shook up recently.
