Tara Mackin, Junior Stage, Galway

Tara is a Performing Arts Facilitator, Theatre-Maker & Curator from Co. Louth. She is a recent graduate of the BA Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies Programme at the University of Galway. Alongside her studies in Drama, Tara received a Choral Scholarship and was a member of the University’s Choral Scholar Chamber Choir. She recently directed ‘All Shook Up’ for Galway University Musical Society in the Black Box Theatre, Galway and acted as a Musical Director for the society for two years. 

Tara is currently in curatorship with the Town Hall Theatre in Galway for an Arts Festival aimed at Children and Young Audiences. She has a great interest in creating art for children and making it as accessible as possible.  Tara has been facilitating Performing Arts workshops for children for 5 years now and is delighted to be joining the team at StageSchool Ireland!
