Teenage Stage Enrolling Now!!

Teenage Stage has been home to some of the greatest youth productions of Broadway musicals staged in Ireland in just seven days.

From Into the Woods and Fame Jr to Sweeney Todd, our skilled teaching and production team has helped bring this uniquely American art form to a whole new generation of audience members and young performers.

A brand new production of Singin’ in the Rain Jr will take St Columba’s College, Dublin and St Mary’s College, Galway by storm.

“By itself, the sequence where Gene Kelly dances in the rain embodies the golden age of the Hollywood Musical. The song, and its immediate recognisable melody, has been revived and quoted numerable times. From Clockwork Orange to The Simpsons, from Glee to North by Northwest, Nacio Herbert Brown and Arthur Freed‘s composition has been all around the world since its creation in 1929,” states the Teenage Stage website. This light satire of the cinema world having to deal with the talking picture is a ‘resolutely optimistic story from the beginning to the end where professionalism, tenacity, friendship and love overcome all difficulties'”.

Your child aged 11 to 18 may still take part in the show this Summer!
The Final places are now booking online – but with limited availability in all senior classes.

For teens who prefer the “other side of the camera” why not look at our Filmmaking residential course at the magnificent Clongowes Wood College, Kildare from 29th July to 4th August. No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm.
