Teenage Stage is one of just a few, English speaking arts educational courses in Europe to partner with boarding schools. Ours is a traditional summer school, that maintains the best of tradition, whilst constantly introducing new ways to teach musical theatre, drama and filmmaking.
Each course is small and friendly, providing a complete drama or film school elective, where students learn from the finest teachers and, outside rehearsal rooms, enjoy an impressive range of guest workshops, masterclasses and evening entertainment.
The beautiful surrounding area in Kildare and Cork provides a stunning location and a safe environment for an exciting learning experience.

Educationally enriching and creative courses with Clapperboard Junior Film School. Situated at this magnificent location (amid 500 acres of stunning wooded Irish countryside) Learn to edit footage, shoot movies, use equipment, acting for screen techniques. script writing and much more.
Filmmaking and Acting For The Screen Residential Camp divide into 2 classes for the entire duration of the course. CLAPPERBOARD FILM CREW (for aspiring filmmakers) & TEENAGE STAGE DRAMA CREW (for young actors). Students choose which team they wish to join for duration of course at booking stage.
Each group develops individual and team skills in their own disciplines though practical training, skills, workshops and masterclasses with film industry and acting professionals. And because the best way to learn is to be taught to safely use equipment as quickly as possible and start shooting, this is what we do!
At the end of the course, Our finale culminates in an exclusive Family Screening! with completed movie and behind the scenes footage telling the story of how that movies got made, plus our special Q and A session for parents with the cast and crew.
And when students aren’t on set, an exciting and enriching fun evening programme is there until hot chocolate at 10pm!
