StageSchool Ireland now offers exclusive Summer Camp experiences through our partners, Teenage Stage International Summer Schools and Clapperboard Junior Film School. These intensive residential theatre and film courses are for boys and girls age 11-13 (Juniors) or 14-19 (Seniors). No auditions required. Each residential camp provides a complete drama or film school programme where students learn from the finest teachers and, outside rehearsal, enjoy an impressive and inclusive range of guest workshops, masterclasses and evening activities.

Following a sold out ‘Singin In The Rain JR’ course last year with students from ten countries, Teenage Stage are excited to present their 2020 residential Summer school, We Will Rock You! This years camp is being offered in two locations, Dublin, at St Columba's College, Whitechurch, (nr Rathfarnham), and Kildare, at Clongowes Wood College in Clane.

For day rehearsal, singing, drama and dance classes, students are divided into juniors and seniors which ensure they receive the correct level of tuition for their age and ability. In keeping with the ‘arts educational’ experience and our wish to develop independence, teamwork and leadership skills in students, all meals, lessons and activities are taken together. Excursions and evening entertainment are combined allowing students to spend time with new friends in a relaxed manner after a packed day rehearsal.

This exclusive and brand new 70 minute edition features chart-topping songs, “Another One Bites The Dust”, “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Killer Queen”, “Somebody To Love”, “We Are the Champions”, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” and many more.. Film Making & Acting for the Screen (Kildare, July 19TH to August 1ST or July 26TH to August 1ST, one week or two week courses) NOW BOOKING!

Educationally enriching and creative courses with our proud partner, Clapperboard Junior Film School. Situated at this magnificent location (amid 500 acres of stunning wooded Irish countryside) Learn to edit footage, shoot movies, use equipment, acting for screen techniques. script writing and much more. Our teaching and lecturer team are some of the best in this industry and early booking is advised.

Students on this Filmmaking and Acting For The Screen Residential Camp divide into 2 classes for the entire duration of the course. CLAPPERBOARD FILM CREW (for aspiring filmmakers) & TEENAGE STAGE DRAMA CREW (for young actors). Students choose which team they wish to join for duration of camp at booking stage.

Each group develops individual and team skills in their own disciplines though practical training, skills, workshops and masterclasses with film industry and acting professionals. And because the very best way to learn to is GET OUT THERE AND START SHOOTING! the Filmmaking and Acting Crews combine in teams to work together for the production of their movies during their holiday.

At the end of the course, Our finale culminates in a Premiere Popcorn Family Screening!! with completed movie and behind the scenes footage telling the story of how that movies got made, plus our special Premiere Q and A session for parents with the cast and crew.

And when students aren’t on set, indoor and outdoor activities on offer include table tennis, basketball, chess, scrabble, draughts, plus educational world cinema nights, talent shows with comedy evenings and entertaining film history lectures!
